Meet our founder, Chef Mitch, the Sauce Boss!
Mitch Pumpian has worked as a professional chef for over 40 years in restaurants, catering, and culinary education.
The first version of Mitch’s Best Buffalo Sauce was created in 1990 while Mitch was the executive chef for a successful group of restaurants. The idea was simple: create a buffalo sauce for chicken wings that would be better and different than any other.
Over the years, it became a family favorite that, with tweaks and refinement, evolved into a sauce friends could not stop asking for. Friends and family have persisted for years in asking Mitch to bottle this sumptuous sauce so they can enjoy it at home and give it as gifts.
Well, we finally made it! Today, we are excited to say we are able to share it with all of you!
